I feel like, as of late, I have not been putting enough effort into posting records.  First of all, on Thursday, I went to a show and was hoping to double post on Friday but that did not end up well.  I was so exhausted from going to bed late and working all day I posted one record on Friday and then fell asleep.  Then yesterday, Saturday, I woke up with a sinus headache and could not get myself to even get up and be on the computer.  I did, however, listen to some records and here I am, bringing you the debut album by the British band Dire Straits.  When I pulled out this record from my shelf, I listened to it only knowing one song, Sultans of Swing, which is a great song that, in my opinion, will always be a great song no matter how many years later you listen to it.  But as I was listening to each song, I was really impressed with the outcome.  Mark Knopfler's voice has a sort of twang to it, if that makes sense.  Regardless of my opinion, this album is great, so great I gave it two listens.

Enjoy!
