The debut album by Black Flag, Damaged set out to be one of their best records yet.  Rolling Stone lists this record as their 340th pick of the Top 500 Greatest Albums.  I know those type of things don't impress people, but it's more so the quality of the record/tracks.  I, not being a big fan of punk, but I played this record for my friend Bob, who actually sports a Black Flag tattoo on his wrist.  For someone to go to that extent to show their likeness for a band is a true fan indeed, plus it's always nice to switch things up a little.  From Post Rock to Punk, that change is definitely different.  I think what I admire the most about punk, and this could go for just any type of genre that does this, is that their tracks/songs are so quick.  When you pick up an album, I think the song listing itself is shocking, but when you actually play it, each song if song is done in the matter of a minute or two.

Enjoy!
